    General rules

    1.The registering teams are expected to submit their performance video to the Co-Coordinator of the event before 7th of February.
    2.The short listing will be done based on this video (upload the relevant video in YouTube and send us the link or send the CD/DVD to the below mentioned address).
    3. All decisions in this regard will be made by the organizers and the same will be deemed final.
    4.Shortlisted teams will be published in the Deepwoods website and the Facebook page.
    5. Minimum duration of the video is 3 mins for light music, Western electrics and western acoustics, mime and 4mins for Dance (western & eastern).This does not apply for Fashion show.
    6.Registration of more than one team/band is encouraged from a college, but the members of the bands/teams must necessarily be mutually exclusive.

    General Rules

    1.Minimum of 3 and maximum of 12 members on stage and 1 off stage member
    2.Time limit is 15 minutes including set up and sound check.
    3.Registration of more than one team is encouraged from a college, but the members of the bands must necessarily be mutually exclusive.
    4.You can perform under any one or more of the following categories: Semi-Classical, Movies, Albums, Own Composition. However, all these will be judged under the same category.
    5.Songs must be in any one of the Indian languages and the presence of excess foreign language/word content in the songs might lead to disqualification (based on the discretion of the judges).
    6.A basic drum kit will be provided.
    7.Using of pre-recorded beats/karaoke is not allowed.

    General Rules

    1. Even though both Indian and western dance will be held in the same venue at
    2.The same time as a single event, the events will be judged separately.
    3. Maximum time allowed is 10 minutes (including stage set up and narration, if any.)
    4. Minimum of 6 and maximum of 20 on stage members and 1 off stage member.
    5.The music CD should be submitted 2 hours prior to the competition to the Co-Coordinator of the event. Teams are advised to keep a backup file on a USB drive.

    2.Time limit of 18 minutes including the introduction of the rounds.
    3.There should be a minimum of two rounds.
    4.Only one team is permitted to register from each College.
    5.Vulgarity will leads to disqualification.
    6.The music CD should be submitted 2 hours prior to the competition to the Co-Coordinator of the event. Teams are advised to keep a backup file on a USB drive.
    7.The teams can perform on any theme and may do as many rounds as they please.
    8.Props can be used on stage, but you are not allowed to use animals or reptiles or any other forms of life as one
    9.Maximum of 15 entries on first-come, first-serve basis

    2.Maximum of 10 members including of backstage crew .
    3.Time limit: empty stage to empty stage, 30minutes.
    4.Teams will be judged on the basis of usages of stage, acting skills and quality of performance .
    5.Judgesí call will be final .
    6.scores/ Sound cues should be handled by the team itself.
    7.No microphones provided.

How to Get Here?


Are you from Chennai? Then jump onto any bus or train heading towards Tambaram and from the bus stand or the railways station its just a 5 minute stroll down to our college campus


If you find yourself at the Chennai Central Railway station you will find a lot of options to get yourself to Tambaram. Local Train Service from the Park railway station which will get you to Tambaram in about an hour.


For colleges arriving at the Koyambedu Bus terminus, many a bus can be found heading in the direction of Tambaram


And, finally, if you land at Chennai airport, nothing could be simpler!!! The college is about 15 minutes from the domestic terminal.


If all fails just inform us in prior and we can arrange a guide.

Accommodation


We have arranged accommodations on campus for both men and women exclusively for outstation colleges. If you are interested in making use of these facilities, please inform us at the earliest as there are other colleges looking for the same
